Aniset Butati – Msimamo
Tanzanian gospel minister Aniset Butati delivers Msimamo, a song centered on making a firm choice to follow God’s direction regardless of the voices and opinions from others. The declaration “leo natangaza msimamo sitamsikiliza mtu nitamsikiliza Mungu tu” shows a commitment to placing complete trust in divine guidance.
Recognizing that “maneno ya mwanadamu yanaweza kukurudisha nyuma,” the song encourages believers to protect their faith and remain focused on their spiritual path. “Mambo yangu mimi na Mungu tu nimeshaamua” reinforces the importance of confidence in God’s plan and the courage to stand by one’s convictions.
